The ending to this series is very rushed and some of the characters seem to really change from who we have known them to be. The moments in the fog that has a heartbeat and teeth. I loved it juilanna I hated it.

He finds peace at last in a way, but is still brutalized. While Patridge deals with his new role as leader of the Dome, Pressia, Bradwell and El Capitan and Helmud struggle to return from Newgrange with Aribelle Willux’ legacy of hope for a cure to the Fusings.
She makes decisions not just based on personal desires, but for the good of the people, even if that breaks her heart. But things are not as simple from his new position of power and he finds himself tempted by his father’s words: Julianna Baggott has never ceased to amaze me with how easily she weaves a story. The end just fell flat for me. This trilogy stole my heart, and I don’t ever want it back. There are so many unanswered questions!

Each main character in Burn gets their own particulars, and each characters fate is left in Baggott’s scheming hands on how they will end up, and whether or not there will be a HEA when all is said and done.
Is it possible to bring about a balance in society without a violent revolution? Their relationship was the most real and touchable thing in this story yeah, Bradwell, I’m looking at you. After being pushed, and pulled, and exposed for his actions against his father, Partridge’s choices had me shaking my head in irritation right until the very end.
The first time I remember mention of the piano was in the second …more I thought it represented that something in the scene was fake, or not what it seemed. Unfortunately towards the end, it left a lot to be desired. His anger, his twisted heart, and his final actions are heartbreaking. I wanted a little bit of happiness, I needed a hope and there wasn’t any.
Aug 05, Lauren-Anne Cameron marked it as for-kindle. Seriously, right up until the very last page. I don’t think so. His character’s choices were the most painful for me, because I didn’t feel like they were authentic choices for the person he had become.
Does anyone know how old the characters are?!
First off, I hope this review doesn’t discourage anyone from reading this book and finishing the trilogy but I just wasn’t happy with this book. I understood them jjlianna having their position spelled out for me, and I appreciated Baggott’s trust of the reader’s intelligence in that respect. Inside the Dome, Patridge has taken his father’s place as leader of the Pures.

There is one in Ingerships’s house, and then also one in the fake rooms in the dome where Partridge and Iralene live. So much happens to everyone involved. His struggle has led him here, intent upon bringing down the Dome from the inside, with the help of a secret resistance force. And it was nothing short of weird and misplaced within the plot. Oh my god that end oh my god oh my god oh my god My heart is broen into 1 pieces and I don’t think it will ever recover oh MY GoD.

Baggott is, after all, a film school professor–the entire Pure trilogy reads like a novelization of a screenplay, or at least a fleshed out treatment of a screen story. Who lives, who dies? But I I originally gave this book 4 stars, but after a week or so to think about it, I’m downgrading to three. Bagyott there are those moments, too.
I’ve felt battered at the end of a book many times before.
