I was recently leadnig a book titled Consiglieri: Open Preview See a Problem? But many of the attributes that have been most useful to consiglieri can’t be chosen and developed in this way.

But there is a lot more to be mined around the ideas of team leadership, ‘managing up’, and generally being the trusted adviser.
